Big Conversation: PCC wants public priorities to shape crime plan.
Cutting crime, community policing and supporting victims are at the heart of the PCC’s plans for the next four years, but what are the issues that matter to you?
The PCC is calling on the public to put forward their thoughts, feelings and priorities. These will be used to inform the ‘Big Conversation’ with West Mercia’s Chief Constable Alex Murray, which will be available to view on the PCC’s website and social media channels.
The suggestions and ideas will also help to shape the PCC’s Police and Crime Plan, outlining the focus for the PCC for the next four years.
Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion said “As the voice of the public in policing, this is your chance to raise any concerns, and for them to be acted upon at the highest level.
During my election campaign I set out clear pledges. I want to see West Mercia Police continue to drive down levels of crime, putting victims and survivors first and being evermore visible and accessible.
This extends beyond policing alone, and there is some fantastic work going on across a range of commissioned services.
By joining the big conversation, you can help shape how all of this will look. I look forward to hearing your views.”
The public can let the PCC know their policing priorities by clicking here, messaging on social media on Facebook, X and Instagram (@WestMerciaPCC), or emailing comments@westmercia.police.uk before Tuesday 25 June.
