PCC statement following West Mercia Police officer jailed
PCC John Campion: “Today, my thoughts are with those who were harmed as a result of Darbyshire’s sickening actions.
“As a serving police officer he should have been protecting people from harm. I have no doubt that today’s verdict will further question the public’s confidence in policing, however I want to assure people that I, nor the force, will tolerate this kind of behaviour.
“For those affected by sexual assault, there is help out there so please speak up and you will be supported.”
