Commitment to Bromsgrove with MP Sajid Javid

Sajid Javid, MP for Bromsgrove has met with PCC, John Campion to hear about his local priorities for Bromsgrove. This meeting came following the news that police and fire services would be brought under joint governance in West Mercia.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) will be brought under John’s leadership in order to secure more sustainable and resilient services for local people.

Sajid Javid MP said:

“I’m confident that John will continue to do all he can to ensure Bromsgrove is well-policed and well-served.”

“The public safety of my Bromsgrove constituents, and members of the public throughout West Mercia is the key priority.”

“Joint governance will create a safer, more efficient and prosperous community.”

“I’m thankful to John for his commitment to Bromsgrove.”

John Campion, PCC said:

“Sajid has always been exceptionally supportive round the issues that matter to our communities, and this was a great meeting to discuss local policing in Bromsgrove, in particular the night time economy and the services I commission to build safer, more secure communities.”

“Together we are committed to listening, and acting upon our community’s needs.”
